BSNL DataOne Broadband: New DNS Servers for BSNL DataOne
Two new DNS servers are installed for BSNL DataOne Broadband service. Change your broadband DNS IP settings into these new servers.
Following are the new IPs
DNS Servers IP
218.248.240.208
218.248.240.135
(Alternate DNS Server: 218.248.240.179)
These new servers improves the speed of internet browsing.
BSNL Broadband DataOne Connection:
Double click on My Network Places, Go to View Network Connections, Go to Local Area Connection, Go to Properties, Go to General, Double click on Internet Protocol [TCP/IP].
Enter IP address, Subnet mask, Default gateway, Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server.
Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will provide you IP address, Subnet Mask, DNS server, etc.
After you finish, click OK Button. That’s it.
BSNL Broadband – Basic BSNL DataOne Configuration
If your Computer (PC) has a network card and your Operating System (OS) is Windows XP…
Assign IP 192.168.1.2 OR 192.168.1.5 to your PC.
Connect your ADSL Modem.
Create an network connection ( WAN MiniPort PPPoE) for BSNL DataOne.
Type your username & password and click connect.
Now you are connected to BSNL Broadband
Start accessing internet…… Happy browsing !!!
